Starting from the new year, the amount of the state fee for registration of the transfer of ownership will increase. So, if earlier the amount of the fee depended on the amount specified in the contract of sale, now it will be calculated in accordance with the cadastral value of the object. In cases where the cadastral value of housing has not been established or is estimated at less than 20 million rubles, the state duty will be equal to 4 thousand rubles. At the same time, for real estate with a cadastral value of over 20 million rubles, the fee should not be less than 0.02% of the transaction price, and its amount may not exceed 500 thousand rubles. Also, starting from January 2025, the amount of the fee will almost triple for the one-time registration of the right to real estate and its cadastral registration. So far, it is 2 thousand rubles, but it will rise to 6 thousand rubles if the housing costs no more than 20 million rubles. In cases where the price of the property exceeds the threshold of 20 million rubles, the fee will be calculated according to the formula: 2 thousand rubles plus 0.02% of the cadastral value. Important: the state fee cannot be less than 0.02% of the transaction price, but it cannot exceed the amount of 500 thousand rubles.
