The Ministry of Finance proposed to levy a tax on all real estate according to the cadastre
The Ministry of Finance intends to introduce a new form of taxation by 2025, in which the cadastral value of all real estate objects will be taken into account.
It is noted that the task of the transformation is "leveling the tax burden for organizations and individuals."
The authorities assume that the innovation will have a positive impact on the income level of the population in the regions. Today, the tax is calculated for each part of the property separately. That is, citizens pay it based on the cadastral value of their housing. Meanwhile, companies and corporations, having many objects, have the right to pay taxes based on the book value of real estate, and it is often less than the cadastral value.
It is noteworthy that the new law is only being developed. Accordingly, its final version, as well as the time of entry into force, are unknown.
