Developers will no longer be able to delay the commissioning of houses
Anti-crisis measures and a moratorium on penalties will cease to apply to the construction industry in July 2023. After the repeal of the law, strict control by the Ministry of Construction will begin over compliance with the deadlines for putting housing into operation.
So in the regions they plan not to allow postponing the deadlines for the delivery of houses for which anti-crisis concessions were in effect in 2022. All facilities, without exceptions, should be commissioned in 2023. The department emphasizes that all the necessary capabilities and resources are available for this.
It is worth noting that the Ministry of Construction in 2023 plans to increase the share of commissioning of apartment buildings and expects to bring their number to 50 million sq. m. minimum.
