The Ministry of Finance extended the family mortgage program with a rate of 6 until 2030
The Ministry of Finance has extended the family mortgage program with a rate of 6% until 2030. For Moscow, St. Petersburg and the Leningrad region, the maximum loan amount is up to 12 million rubles, for other regions — up to six million rubles. The initial payment when applying for a mortgage is 20%. You can apply for a mortgage loan for a larger amount (up to 30 million in Moscow, St. Petersburg and the Leningrad region and up to 15 million in the regions), but then the market rate will apply to the part exceeding the limit. The program applies to families with at least one child under the age of six, the Ministry of Finance clarifies. Also, families with two children from small towns (up to 50 thousand people), residents of regions with low construction volume or regions with individual development programs can get a mortgage. In addition, the program applies to families where there is a child with a disability. Recall that since July 1, one of the most massive non-targeted preferential mortgage programs has ceased to operate, according to which housing in a new building could be bought at 8% per annum. It was introduced during the coronavirus pandemic as a temporary solution, but since then the government has extended the program several times.
