Round table

One of the priorities of the national doctrine, in the President's Message to the Federal Assembly, was the task of preserving historical heritage and involving cultural heritage objects in economic turnover.

As part of the III Exhibition-Forum "Appropriate Architecture", the Public Chamber of the Rostov Region together with the Rostov Branch of the Union of Architects of Russia held a Round Table meeting on October 4, 2024 at the Rostov Art Gallery "On the involvement of cultural heritage objects of the Rostov Region and the historical center of Rostov-on-Don in economic turnover." During the Round Table, topical issues and problems of preserving the historical heritage on the Don and in particular in the Don capital were considered. A Model Regional Standard for the Preservation of Cultural Heritage Objects developed by the Agency for Strategic Initiatives of Russia was proposed for consideration, as well as restoration experience and successful practices and mechanisms working in other regions of the Russian Federation to attract private and public funding in the field of heritage conservation.
